Look...What we Made...

If Only every couple we knew said this as confidently... https://youtu.be/1LGVGekPSzo I remember You now, I remember the times that could have been, The seeds we could sow, For only with courage we could have ploughed... Time was never yours, Society wasn't ours, We could have stood steadfast against time; Ultimately faith and family were for whom you took the fall.

Duality

What makes us who we are... Is it our kin? Is it us unknowingly trudging through the ever black veil that is the future? Is it our memories, o'er that we have no control? Is it our friends? Is it the city we live in? Is it the conscience we are endowed with? Is it us who let the past enable us? Is it us who lets the past control our next thought? Or is it us who breathes the present, remembering the past...Forging to OUR future? What shapes us more than the swan named time; we are a result of variety. A by-product of expectations and rebellion. Our circumstances choose between the devil and the angel....

Teachers

The first poem I recited on stage...And sucked ... One of those few times one of my teachers congratulated me nevertheless and walked me over to my seat. Quite interesting that I've seen I spiration in my high school English teachers. Teachers shape us. P.S: I sucked at self confidence until 8 years later in college. The Blind Beggar by  Arthur Symons He stands, a patient figure, where the crowd  Heaves to and fro; a sound is in his ears  As of a vexed sea roaring, and he hears  In darkness, as a dead man in his shroud.  Patient he stands, with age and sorrow bowed,  And holds a piteous hat of ancient years;  And in his face and gesture there appears  The desperate humbleness of poor men proud.  What thoughts are his, as, with the inward sight,  He sees the glad unheeding Fair go by?  Is the long darkness darker for that light,  And sorrow nearer when such mirth is nigh?  Patient, alone, he stands from morn to night,  Pleading in his reproachful misery.

The "Divine" Farce

"God" is a word that merely alludes to our current misunderstanding of nature and science. It loses its meaning once we slowly understand it. "God" is a word that runs rivers of blood; of people who do not understand its meaning and how it defines our existence as a "Single" species.

The False Binary

Just trying to break it down for the Bhakths in India... :P But then; trying to stay within the realms of logical legitimacy is something that requires immense mental effort, compared to the effortlessness that anti-intellectualism entices the majority with. That, along with a skewed opinion that a lack of empathy is rebellious and more importantly; macho. The bhakths think they are doing what their precursors didn't have the balls to do during the independence; REBEL. These times we live in are the times of THEIR struggle, not for their people; but for their idealogues. A true narrative of a vitriolic binary that makes people choose between freedom and development, while the case of a nation can ACTUALLY be boiled down to the concept of "Good Cop...Bad Cop"...Our "Honorable" PM plays the good cop really well, while the minions play bad. And fear is a brilliant negative motivator. And that's definitely NOT something our nation needs... Definitel

Family, Friends... And Acqauintaces

Selfishness is in protecting family and who you consider "Friends"... NOT  who are so called acquaintances.

The Shear Extremes

We Will, We not will be, We will, We not will be, Tear thou facade For you shall witness it Tear thou facade, For you shall see it Truth is a confusion for any, Sirens calling out in to the sea... For life may be deceit; but death your redeemer. While the gods watch on, as the Cosmos plays actor We will, We will not be, Here lay the lies that spoke to the heart, Here lay the lives of lives torn apart...
