Conflicts

Does your pain....belong to me... A voice in vain...Drowns in the sea... Brought down by waves...of complacency Affinity was not your choice Affinity is Moebius No mirror can break the permanence Only You...Only You Black and White do not make grey Sacred IS what they say The Colorblinds scream hearsay While heretics have their way

Grey

Death by itself is grey... Singing songs of itself to people; reminding them of the good and the bad they could before they cease... How might it be that death is so frowned upon when it might just be the finish line to a race that you win with a smile of accomplishment... Accomplishments that remain in the hearts of your people way beyond your existence... Why is Death that siren that crashes you against the rocks when it might well be the eternal sash of greatness that adorns you... The thought of cessation seeks to be a driver of good while we are caught in the claws of the seeming omnipresent chaos...

Return...

Music and lyrics are solace when she's away...In songs of love and missing.. Remnants of her shine remain in the moon light...In the words of songs I cannot decipher...Songs only she sheds light on... We were separated by land...Now by sea.. Yet her songs remind me of her return... The silence is deafening and without her there's no light... Yet I confide in her songs ...Her voice is the closest I can be with her .. And these songs I shall listen to in her silence

What keeps me going is the sound of your voice... Waves crash against the rocks; but I'm guided by your voice... That's why you are the lighthouse in my poems while sirens sing their songs... I listen to your music...Beacons I need to see always burn the brightest... And I see you in them. The first one to see me through the fog... And I know that the illusion shall fade way soon, but our magic will remain....  :)

Of God-Men and Otherwise

A question posed to me by a friend who is equally Socratic as me... "So his (Sadhguru) fans are people who fall for over simplification, generalizations, and naive or gullible by charisma or certain desirable personality traits, etc ...  They should  read more science, find time to look at it from other possible angles, and verify/ validate the scientific claims and statistics.... Is that a solution to have an improved world order u reckon?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And my idealist/pessimistic (Whichever way you'd like to see it.) answer was: Too much to ask of people if I say so myself...And the above are reasons why we progressed from the dark ages...And if you ask me...People did fall for over simplification, generalizations, and naive or gullible by charisma or certain desirable personality traits, etc. in regimes that eventually turned dictatorships/generally oppre

The Truth About The Abstract

Scientific illiteracy maybe...But it's also fuelled by human hope of a better future... Sadhguru, Nithyananda, etc (Examples of shallow and fraud twats by the way) and a lot of other godmen speak the language of the abstract... Abstract being subjective is easily malleable to whatever you personally want it to be... What is probably required is not literacy after all...It's something as simple as genuine and hard introspection..

Duality II

I was blue while they were black.... I wished time were on my side but I knew the blues were on their own while black had more than the rainbow... Time however washed away the hues that were never to remain... Only for Blue to remain... So they heard...So they wanted to believe... The noise cut through the silence of doubt... And in due time they beheld...Once it was gone... Time can create and destroy...

It's All About The Money...

2008: Global economic meltdown occurs in spite of the best interests of the intellectual global economists pushing their weight behind globalization and the buzzwords since the 90s and earlier. And, capitalism creating a global political and financial elite class that only wedged the wealth gap further. It's not surprising then that strong man leaders in the East choose to project themselves as journeymen who traversed their way to the top from humble beginnings. Everyone loves a rags-to-riches story anyways. Populism, strong man politics, anti-intellectualism, and identity politics has to emerge from some place and they probably did in 2008. And then there are the strong men in the west who promise the safeguarding of neo-colonist interests of their homeland, while the strong men in the east proclaim a soft rejection of globalization and promise a push back against western interests in the name of evangelizing indigenous soft power in its various forms. Both; bei

Burn Bright!

Dreams of wax, they burned so bright in the eyes of the progenitor... The paraffin knows not its true purpose until it is consumed by the flames of affirmation. Yet, he opens his eyes and soars through the skies, for he chooses to seek faith in the beauty of his moment. He sees what his father did not see; an earth that lay waste by cause of a lesser vision, firm in gravity. In that twinkle of a distant star, he witnessed the Pale Blue Dot... The Minotaur was Daedalus' demon... Icarus had his unseen... - Icarus Re-imagined (C) Been a while since I wrote something...with a very visible nod to Sagan...:) :

Love Me! I'll Kill You Otherwise...

Well you need to strike a balance between the promises you made and playing good-cop-bad-cop. The legitimacy of good eventually is not founded in genuine concern, but their ultimate purpose is to legitimize evil through the good. Happened with Hitler, happened with Mussolini, happens with every known supremacist ideology. (Although unlike blatant bigotry back in the times, they call for inclusiveness and respect for their kin in the present, to endear themselves to a globali zed world.) Our man shouts peace and inclusion among others while his minions are let loose to play the bad cop with intimidation, communalism, and lynching. A commonality in populist strong-men governed countries. This is exactly what Manmohan meant when he mentioned the "Dangerous Binary" in one of his parliament speeches; the way of choosing the good that is founded on evil. And for a species who are driven mostly by the need to survive, withdraw in fear is what the common man can do; since
